DTN8 Remote Mine Droids are an ingenious piece of wargear in the armouries of the Röknauts and their allies. Trundling forward on tiny all-terrain tracks, these droids deliver a large explosive payload to pre-programmed battlefield co-ordinates, and can even be piloted remotely if the targets attempt to withdraw. Armoured against light arms fire, these droids will survive until they initiate detonation. The glowing sensor-blister and blinking “ears” on their receiver domes imbues them with a certain loveable quality, which often leads their operators to recover their components post-mission to rebuild them anew.
