“This starcycle can the incursion launch and riders blast their foe. The forges of war are lit and instruments of destruction at hand, but the battle-sharp troopers could not spot the twin Echogeld champions.”
– Thawspace Edda, 47: ᚬ

Welcome all to the first Ontos Games Chronicle of 2024! I’m here to tantalise you with clues about the Space Dwarfs on the road ahead.
Worldwide Röknauts

Röknauts All Over the World Oh here we are and here we are and here we go. If you’re in England, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, New Zealand, Japan, America, Canada or Brazil then you’re in the same country as someone else that’s also collecting retro resin Space Dwarf miniatures. I hope you meet one day, and become firm friends.
The webstore ONTOSGAMES.CO.UK is shipping worldwide, and is ready for you to grab some reinforcements in case you want to be the person with the most Röknauts in your country. If you’re in England, I challenge you to own more Röknauts than me and the mighty Ontos warehouse.
Studio Painting Underway

Ahead of the upcoming exciting release of new Röknauts (COMING SOON!) I’m painting up some more resin castings from the first campaign to add to the studio’s Naudor Thronesworn army. No heavy weapon for the Röknaut Trooper… yet. Watch this space.
Despite these looking like crisp studio resins (as some people have commented), they’re actually production castings like the ones you’d get if backed the Kickstarter or placed an order today at Ontos Games.
Community Showcase

Our favourite Spanish blogger, Suber, painted up his Röknauts in a smashing white scheme with icy turquoise tunic-cloth and ivory weapon casings. I’m smitten with the zoomorphic helmet markings, and attention to detail on the shoulder pads. Don’t be surprised if I copy this scheme for my own collection, Suber. Check out his blog here.
Harbinger of Resin
Yes, studio painting for the next release of new Röknaut toys is underway. I’m really quite giddy to the point of squealing at the painting desk with the chunky dwarven energy the new miniatures have. I’ve been tinkering with prototypes, making production tweaks and testing how nicely they paint up. I’m not ready to reveal their glory yet, but while I have the camera equipment set up let me tease you with this trio of mysterious ovals. What could they be for?

If you’re even a fraction as ecstatic as I am about the upcoming minis – please post this to your socials! Speculate about the potential future ahead in your private hobby chats. Start a conversation about it with your mother when you’ve exhausted your regular topics of small talk. Thanks in advance!
Rök on!
